Sixty-Nine: the Special Disco Mix

The guys behind “Brooklyn Express” are Began Cekic and Tee Scott. A Yugoslavian record owner and one of the best DJs and producer of NY in the 70’s. Scott was also the resident DJ at Better Days for 8 years. In an interview by Daniel Wang, Scott reports that Cekic treated him with the best studio gear he can find, and with all these shiny new gifts he couldn’t resist to deliver his magic. Tee Scott mixed and produced 3 singles for him, all covers. This song is essentially a rework of “Spank“, made famous by Jimmy “Bo” Horne.
